Me At The Movies
Melina B is an employee at The Arc of Midland. She makes the office much more fun, and we love seeing her each day. Melina is authoring the blog, and “spilling the tea” about all sorts of things while sharing her perspective! Follow along as Melina posts each Monday for “Mondays with Melina.”
This week, Melina is sharing how meaningful it feels to get out into the community and enjoy everyday life. Whether it's seeing a movie, running errands, or just being around others, these small moments make a big difference. At The Arc, we know that connection is key: feeling seen, feeling heard, and being a part of something bigger. Melina reminds us that doing what brings you joy, especially with people who support you, helps keep life full and balanced: something we strive to do for the people we serve.
Without further ado…
I love going to the movies with my staff. I saw Frozen, my favorite movie. I like going out and about because it is good for me. And seeing people and interacting is good for my mental health and I enjoy doing it. I love doing everyday life. It makes me feel wonderful enjoying my life better than not.. I love going to the theaters. I love going because movies are how we learn from them.
Thank you !
