When I Was At The Arc Dance

Melina B is an employee at The Arc of Midland. She makes the office much more fun, and we love seeing her each day. Melina is authoring the blog, and “spilling the tea” about all sorts of things while sharing her perspective! Follow along as Melina posts each Monday for “Mondays with Melina.”

This week, Melina is sharing one of her favorite ways to connect: dancing, laughing, and being around people who make her feel like she belongs. At The Arc, we know that joy, friendship, and feeling included are just as important as anything else. Our community grows stronger when we take time to celebrate together, and Melina reminds us that sometimes, the best moments are the ones that happen on the dance floor. Without further ado…

I would like to talk about the dance I went to with my staff and my boyfriend at the time and his best friend. We had fun, we danced a lot and yummy snacks too. I love going to the Arcs dances and it is good for us to socialize and dance just about having fun! That's what we are born for. I love going to them throughout the year. They are fun. We were having a blast !
