My New Nephew
Melina B is an employee at The Arc of Midland. She makes the office much more fun, and we love seeing her each day. Melina is authoring the blog, and “spilling the tea” about all sorts of things while sharing her perspective! Follow along as Melina posts each Monday for “Mondays with Melina.”
This week, Melina is spilling some piping hot tea - she has a new nephew! At The Arc, we know how important family is, whether your family be blood related or chosen. The people we serve at The Arc are our chosen family, and we love celebrating their milestones just as much as our own. Melina’s joy reminds us that sharing these moments together makes them even more meaningful. Just like Melina welcoming her nephew into the family, we are always grateful to welcome and celebrate new chapters with those we serve.
Without further ado…
I have brand new Nephew. My younger sister was pregnant and had a baby, we were extremely over the moon, I jumped up and down, me and my sister are officially Aunties she had him on February 27th 2025 its a boy she showed me a picture 4th of july were so thankful to have a miracle baby in the family. He's as sweet and healthy as he can be! I got to hold him for the first time. I was crying happy tears. I have never been an auntie before my sister did so well like a trooper. We are honored with wonderful blessings. My mom is her first grandma. This is wonderful.
Thank you God for letting my sister be a mom!
