Spending Time With Sisters
Melina B is an employee at The Arc of Midland. She makes the office much more fun, and we love seeing her each day. Melina is authoring the blog, and “spilling the tea” about all sorts of things while sharing her perspective! Follow along as Melina posts each Monday for “Mondays with Melina.”
Now that Father’s Day has passed and summer is in full swing, many of us are reconnecting with family and spending more time with the people we care about. This week, Melina is sharing what it’s like to spend time with her sisters and why those moments mean so much. Whether it is a visit over breakfast or simply being there for each other, Melina reminds us that strong relationships help us feel grounded, supported, and seen. At The Arc, we know how important it is to have people in your life who make you feel like you belong.
Without further ado…
I love spending time with my sisters because I have breakfast with them and holidays and I am the oldest of my family. I am so grateful I still spend time with my youngest sister who lives in Grand Rapids and my middle sister moved to Midland so I see her the most. Shes married i am so grateful i wasn't only child if it weren't for my sisters i would be bored without them but i do have a brother in law and my youngest has a boyfriend. My sisters do so much for me. I love my sisters. They help me with outlook on my life on the positives. They gave me the value of purpose .
Thank you.
