Melina B is an employee at The Arc of Midland. She makes the office much more fun, and we love seeing her each day. Melina is authoring the blog, and “spilling the tea” about all sorts of things while sharing her perspective! Follow along as Melina posts each Monday for “Mondays with Melina.”
This week, Melina is sharing her excitement about The Arc’s move! She’s looking forward to having more space, including a backyard, and what that will mean for everyone who spends time here.
There’s a lot that goes into moving, especially while making sure people have the support they need along the way. Seeing Melina’s excitement reminds us what all that work is for. More room means new possibilities for the people who already know The Arc and those we have yet to meet. We’re looking forward to settling in and making the space feel like ours, together.
Melina also has an important reminder: the new building isn’t ready for visitors just yet. We’ll share more information when it’s time to welcome everyone in! For now, there is a sneak peak of the new building after Melina’s writing.
Without further ado…
“Hi, I would like to talk about our move to the new building. We are so excited to have expanded Space and helping more people and everybody would love it since we have a backyard and we are ready for a new chapter. On the note we will be out of The Arc by October 30th. People might forget, don’t come to the new building until it is ready, we will share more info about that soon. You will love it.
Thanks”
New office spaces are in progress!
A brand new community building space! We removed all of the walls in the basement to make more room for programs.
