Winter Fun in Midland

Melina B is an employee at The Arc of Midland. She makes the office much more fun, and we love seeing her each day. Melina is authoring the blog, and “spilling the tea” about all sorts of things while sharing her perspective! Follow along as Melina posts each Monday for “Mondays with Melina.”

This week, Melina shares what she loves (and doesn’t love) about winter. She’s all about baking, crafting, and cozy movie nights but could do without the icy roads and winter blues. At The Arc of Midland, we know winter is better when we stay active and connected, whether that’s enjoying the snow, visiting ice sculptures, or just finding ways to make the season special (maybe even by attending a few of our events).

Without further ado…

In the winter i like to bake, and do crafts playing games, doing movie nights, turn on my fireplace and getting cozy, and order pizza. I don't like to be out about when it's very icy out but i enjoy big snowstorm. I also love no bugs, Bats, but i don't love losing power. I don’t like sick season boo, but i do love Christmas, I enjoy sledding though i enjoy snowball fights and make a snowman and sometimes trapped in house doing nothing, and doing whatever you want . Maybe not getting other people sick closer to the Holidays. I do like to go see ice sculptures in Frankenmuth. There's so much to do in the winter time ! is hard because it's cold and icy when it's the sick season .and we all don't like being sick eww
