Me and My Mom at The Arc of Midland

Melina B is an employee at The Arc of Midland. She makes the office much more fun, and we love seeing her each day. Melina is authoring the blog, and “spilling the tea” about all sorts of things while sharing her perspective! Follow along as Melina posts each Monday for “Mondays with Melina.”

This week, Melina is reflecting on someone very special in her life—her mom. At The Arc, we know that the work we do is made possible by the people who lead with their hearts. Whether they’re planning programs, advocating for rights, or making sure everyone feels included, every role matters. Melina reminds us that some of the strongest leaders are also the ones we’re lucky to call family.

Without further ado…

Hi i would like to talk about my mom she is the Executive Director at the Arc. We help people with Developmental Disabilities. We serve hundreds of people. As a Nonprofit we help people from birth to death. We have 8 staff and we have sev eral programs of the arc. And of course 4 dances throughout the year, Holidays are my favorite. The arc is such a phenomenal place . Thank you Arc for fighting for peoples rights. My mom is a hardworking mom helping people to live their best life. Like me !
