Paws to Read

The Arc of Midland would like to invite your

child (8-15) to read with trained Paws to Read therapy dogs.  This has the potential to increase your child's reading fluency, while placing no pressure on your child!

Only a limited number of reading slots are available.  Each child will read to a dog for 15 minutes!

Everyone in Education is providing you with two opportunities to learn from experienced individuals!  If you are looking for information, asking for advice, or just needing to brainstorm with someone, this is the place.  You will find a panel of individuals that have many words of wisdom to share on the topics below.  John us to learn more!

Learning Disabilities: February 5, 2008, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.,

**If you need childcare you must register by February 1st**

Autism and Asperger's, April 8th, 2008, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

**If you need childcare you must register by April 4th**

Menu Manager: The Arc of Midland sponsors a monthly trip to the Menu Manager.  For a great price, individuals can put together their own pre-made meals.  When dinner time comes around, all you have to do is pull out your delicious homemade meal from the freezer and warm it up.  For more information call The Arc, 631--4439.

The date for this month is Wednesday February 20, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Menu Manager on Eastman Road.


Estate Planning Seminar: March 13, 2008, 7:00 p.m. at the Strosacker Center.  Professionals will be on hand by appointment beginning at 3:00 p.m. that day to answer questions and to review current trusts to ensure that the desired outcome is effectively being achieved.  To make appointments or for questions, please call The Arc, 631-4439.
