Donors help make the dream of riding a reality.
With a phenomenal success rate of more than 85% and more than 1,500 children reached annually, Lose The Training Wheels program is a unique opportunity to help kids achieve more than they thought possible. Lose The Training Wheels™ is more than just a bike-riding program. For many children with disabilities, it is a seemingly impossible task they can master in less than a week. Within days of learning to ride, many children exhibit independent behaviors for the first time. This achievement, in turn, creates a gateway of opportunity, helping them gain assurance and self-reliance in many other aspects of their lives.
The Midland Area Bike Camp is one of many Lose the Training Wheels™ camps nationwide. The Midland Area Bike Camp has been fortunate to be chosen to host camps in 2007 & 2009. The support from the Midland Community has been overwhelming. The Arc of Midland is excited to offer another camp in 2010! Thank you for your continued support.
